STRUCTURAL DESIGNER (SENIOR)

We are recruiting a full-time Structural Designer with a focus on classification design to our offices in Helsinki or Turku (Finland). You can be either a seasoned senior or at the beginning of your career. We will tailor the work tasks to your experience.

JOB PROFILE:

• Produce structural drawings, calculations and specifications.
• Participate in new building, conversion projects and teams in a multidiscipline environment according to customer’s requirements.
• Communicate with Customers and Classification Societies internationally.

TO SUCCEED YOU NEED:

• A broad understanding of ship hull structures.
• M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Ability to produce ship hull structural classification documents.
• Knowledge and experience of working with Class Societies.
• Good computer skills (AutoCAD and MS Office). Skills in FEM/FEA (Femap) is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written. Other languages are an advantage.
• Ability to travel abroad.
