PROJECT MANAGER, ELECTRICAL

In your role, you will:

  • Manage demanding ship design projects related to new building and conversions together with the project team.
  • Interact with customers, classifications societies, authorities, suppliers, and partners.
  • Take part in sales supporting tasks.
  • Attending client meetings and providing expertise in electrical and automation tasks.
  • Participating in site supervision and ship surveys.
  • Report to the Head of Electrical Department.

To succeed in this role, you need:

  • A broad understanding of ship wide systems ranging from power distribution to automation.
  • Knowledge in latest new buildings, including specification items and latest environmental technologies.
  • Experience in written reporting and technical presentation.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with regulatory bodies, such as Classification Societies.
  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. or equal experience in relevant engineering discipline.
  • Ability to produce engineering documents and technical specifications.
  • Good computer skills (AutoCAD, MS Office).
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
  • Ability to travel abroad.
