PROJECT DIRECTOR

In your role, you will:

  • Manage demanding ship design projects related to new buildings or conversions in a multidiscipline environment
  • Interact with customers, classifications societies, authorities, suppliers, and partners
  • Take part in sales supporting tasks
  • Participate in the development of project management practices
  • Be an integral part of the company’s Project Management Office

To succeed in this role, you need:

  • A broad understanding of shipbuilding, naval architecture, and ship design
  • Experience in a demanding project management environment
  • Ability to operate under pressure
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings, system schematics, and technical specifications
  • Experience in written reporting and technical presentation
  • Knowledge and experience in working with regulatory bodies, such as Classification Societies
  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Good computer skills (AutoCAD, MS Office)
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written
  • Ability to travel
