HVAC-R SPECIALIST (SENIOR)
We are recruiting a full-time HVAC-R specialist to our head office in Helsinki (Finland). You can be either a seasoned senior or at the beginning of your career. We will tailor the work tasks to your experience.
JOB PROFILE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project-based position, you work together with other disciplines as well as independently.
- You produce technical system diagrams and calculations on the field of ship HVAC and refrigeration systems for retrofit conversions and newbuild projects.
- You perform technical studies and propose alternative solutions i.e. to improve the energy efficiency of the ship.
- You ensure that the documentation follows the ship specification and rules and support the other disciplines with your own experience.
- You communicate internationally with customers, classification societies and equipment suppliers.
TO SUCCEED YOU NEED:
- A broad understanding of ship HVAC and refrigeration systems (minimum 3 years of working experience).
- Expertise in energy saving solutions, regulatory framework and sustainability as an advantage.
- Commissioning, ship surveying and yard experience as advantages.
- Refrigeration technology and HVAC automation experience as an advantage.
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in naval architecture or mechanical engineering.
- English language skills, other languages are an advantage.
- Ability to travel abroad on demand.
